Not getting gig lead notifications & other emails?

There are a number of reasons why you could be having trouble receiving our email notifications.

Wrong email

Have you ever gotten any emails from us? If not, there may be an error in the email address you provided when you joined. You can double-check your email address under Notifications in your Account. If you can't log in at all, contact us.

Gmail tabs

If you use Gmail as your email provider, your inbox may have multiple tabs where new emails will appear. Because of the nature of our emails, sometimes Gmail may determine them to be "Promotions" and automatically move them to that tab instead of your Primary inbox.

The next time you get a GigSalad email in Promotions, click and drag it to the Primary tab. A message will appear on the page confirming the email was moved. It will also ask, "Do this for future messages from leads@gigsalad.com?" Click Yes, and hopefully, all GigSalad emails will now go to your Primary inbox page.

Spam

Unfortunately, in some cases, your email provider may consider our emails to be spam and send them to your Junk folder or block them altogether. One way to try and prevent this from happening is to whitelist our email addresses, which will add them to an approved list. The following email addresses should be whitelisted:

  • noreply@gigsalad.com
  • yourfriends@gigsalad.com
  • gigs@gigsalad.com
  • leads@gigsalad.com

If whitelisting our email addresses does not work, you may need to contact your ISP to see what the issue could be. Also, if you ever mark our emails as spam yourself, this will cause your email to be blacklisted, meaning no more emails will be sent to that address. If you fear this may have happened to you, please contact us.
