GigSalad is a fast and easy way to browse, contact, and hire the entertainers and services you need to make any event a success.

Here’s how it works:

Request a quote

There are two ways to request quotes:

Option 1: Search GigSalad for the service you are interested in booking, and you’ll get a list of providers in your area. Scroll down the page to browse profiles. You can read reviews, look at photos, and watch videos depending on what is included in each profile. When you find someone you like, click Fast free quote to request a customized quote for your event.

Option 2: Skip the search and request a quick quote using the form at the top of any search results page, and we’ll send your request to the most appropriate profiles near you.

When you request a quote, you’ll be asked to provide a password to create a GigSalad event planner account. This account allows you to easily access your requests, manage your event, receive quotes, send messages, and make secure payments.

Communicate with providers

Once a provider receives your request, they’ll review your event information. If they’re available and interested, they’ll send you a quote or message. If further details need to be discussed before getting or accepting a quote, you can easily communicate through our messaging tool or exchange phone numbers. Just remember to finalize the booking on GigSalad!

Book your event

Once you get a quote you are happy with, it’s time to book. Just enter your payment information, and you’re all set. We’ve designed it to be super easy, iron-clad secure, and lightning fast. When you book through GigSalad, you can rest easy knowing you’re protected by our Worry-Free Guarantee.

Do you perform background checks for those listed on GigSalad?

While we do our best to address any issues that are brought to our attention, we do not endorse, sanction, or verify those listed on GigSalad. We recommend that event planners be smart and thorough with their own research and verification if they feel uncertain about proceeding with a performer or service provider. And, of course, should any serious issues be found, please report them to us.

What is a Top Performer?

As you browse the site, you may notice that some providers have a Top Performer badge on their profiles. These are the providers we have determined to be committed professionals, exceptional performers, and quick responders based on verifiable data like bookings, reviews, and response rates.

Can I contact providers directly, or do I have to go through GigSalad?

All communication should remain on GigSalad whenever possible, and bookings must be finalized through the site to receive payment protection under our Worry-Free Guarantee.

If you need to connect with a provider by phone to discuss your event before booking, that’s okay. But we do recommend following up with a message to summarize the conversation so there’s a record. This helps us provide better support in the event of any conflicts.
