Blocking leads for specific dates and times

In order to block leads for dates and times that you're unavailable, you must add them to your GigSalad calendar. There are two ways to do that:

1. Add unavailability

All calendar entries input as "unavailable" (in addition to your general availability) will automatically block leads for events that conflict with those dates and times. 

2. Add events

Gigs booked through GigSalad and any other events you add to the calendar manually or sync from an external calendar will block leads based on your default lead blocking preference or the custom setting you apply to the event. 

Note: Blocking leads only applies to leads sent to you by GigSalad. You may still receive direct leads from clients that conflict with your calendar, even if you've blocked that specific date or time.

Default setting

Your default lead blocking preference will be set to Yes, block leads unless you change it.

To change your default setting:

Log in to your control panel and go to the Calendar.

From the menu, select Calendar Options.

Scroll down to the section titled Default Lead Blocking Preference.

Make your selection and click Save default preference.

Custom setting

If there are specific events on your calendar that you don't wish to use your default setting on, you can manually adjust them per event when you add it to the calendar, or you can change it after it's been added.

To add a custom setting to an existing event:

Log in to your control panel and go to the Calendar.

Choose the event on your calendar that you want to adjust.

In the Edit Event window, scroll down and select Use a specific setting for this event.

Make your selection and click Update event.

If you change your default setting at any point in the future, it will not affect the events that have a custom setting saved.
