Event planner service fee

GigSalad applies a small fee to every booking. Deposit and balance payments made through the site are sent to the provider, so this service fee is the only revenue GigSalad keeps. We apply this fee to cover costs associated with collecting and administering payments, providing our Worry-Free Guarantee, and maintaining the site so it remains safe and easy to use. 

How much?

The service fee is 10% of the total booking price.

Where is the fee listed?

The service fee will be shown beside the total quote from the provider in your message thread. Once you click Book now and proceed to the payment page, you can click the Details dropdown to see a full payment breakdown, including the service fee.

🚨 Important: We know it can be tempting to take bookings off of GigSalad to avoid paying service fees, but remember that bookings made outside of the platform are not eligible for dispute resolution, secure payments, or additional support.
